In today's Summer Games Fest, a new trailer for Lies of P was shown off! The trailer shows off more of the world, story, locations, combat, and at the end, shows off that awesome release date:

You are also now able to pre-order the game now on Steam with prices starting at $60. On top of that, there is a demo that is now available on consoles and PC/Steam that is available now and we tried it out on the Steam Deck.

Lies of P - Demo Impressions on Steam Deck

Once the demo was announced during the stream, I rushed over to the Steam store to download and I am so glad I did. I was surprised that with a low quality preset and FSR 2 set to Quality, the game could run at a near solid 60 FPS uncapped. For a newer game that looks as good as Lies of P does, I found this to be amazing. The optimization NEOWIZ has done to make sure the game runs like this is astounding and makes me extremely excited for the full release.

This does drain the game at around 22W - 25W, so for battery's sake, I opted for 40 FPS (which feels fantastic) and a medium quality preset.

I highly recommend downloading the demo on Steam and trying it out for yourself! It feels like a fantastic Dark Souls game with a little hint of Bloodborne in there. The demo is around 23gb, so make sure you have the space, it will be worth it!
