The developers of KARMA: The Dark World, Pollard Studio, aim to unveil the release date of the game soon, but before that, they want to release a trilogy of trailers, and we've just received the first one today.
Inspired by the works of David Lynch, Hideo Kojima, and Christopher Nolan, KARMA: The Dark World aims to be an immersive story-telling game while providing a cinematic 1st-person horror experience.
You can check out the trailer below:
The 3 trailers aim to reveal key aspects of the game's story, world, and gameplay mechanics. The first trailer sets the scene for the game's premise, where players delve into the darkest depths of their suspects' minds. Will you be able to keep your sanity as you enter this world?
The team behind the game said they were heavily inspired by the late David Lynch's work, often choosing his movies to watch on the Studio's movie night, and admiring how he portrayed his characters and worlds.
Using Unreal Engine 5, they aspire to create something "Lynchian" in nature.
KARMA: The Dark World will have its release date announced soon, you can wishlist the game on Steam right now. The system requirements have been revealed and might present a challenge for the Steam Deck, but we'll be able to know more closer to release.
