It has been a couple of months since Fields of Mistria released to surprise critical acclaim. The early access farming sim is filled with charm and beauty with an intriguing world and cast of characters and variety of gameplay mechanics like farming and mining, all wrapped in an adorable package. It's no wonder it is beloved by so many, and with its first major update, we have a lot more content and a nice Steam Deck fix.

On the Steam Deck side, there aren't many fixes. The glyph for controllers and Steam Decks for the Plant Grass Starter was incorrect, so this update fixed it. There are some other little changes that will affect playing on Steam Deck, like clicking the left button to summon your mount, but the rest of the update is primarily new content and general fixes.

But the new content is outstanding! There are 21 new Tier 4 skill perks, new romanceable six heart events were added, mount-specific skill perks are now here, renown level cap has been raised, two new home upgrades were added, a new festial is here, 25 new requests have been added to the Request Board, new default hairstyles, and so much more!

There's a lot more to it, and if you're curious, you can check the full changelog via their Steam Community Post.
