Exoprimal Season 3 Lands January 18th - Receives its Biggest Update Yet

Exoprimal has had a bit of a rocky start since it launched on Steam 6 months ago, but CAPCOM seems determined to keep up support. Season 3 will drop on January 18th, and here's a taste of what you can expect from this new season of content.

Here's a list of additions that this new Season will bring:

• Exoprimal x Monster Hunter collaboration
  • Collect Monster Tracks in Dino Survival matches to trigger a Monster Hunter mission. Exofighters will then take on Rathalos, the fire-breathing wyvern as well as hordes of Velociprey in a 10-player cooperative boss fight!
  • This crossover also features special cosmetics, charms, decals, emotes, and Comm Wheel stamps inspired by the Monster Hunter franchise.

• Fight against a mutated and unnaturally strong Neo Triceratops in a new 10-player cooperative boss fight. Deadly both at range and in melee distance, you'll need to work together with your fellow Exofighters to keep under your respawn limit.

• Beta-Variant Exosuits. These Beta Exosuits have unique weaponry and playing styles which set them apart from existing Alpha and Standard Exosuit models. Providing flamethrowers and the ability to heal and protect allies.

• The Jungle map. Equip yourself for mid-range and close combat as you explore the tropical rainforest deep in Bikitoa Island. Deliver surprise attacks on unsuspecting foes to gain the upper hand.

On top of all these new additions, the following events will also be running through Season 3:

• Lunar New Year Campaign – Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024 – Monday, Feb. 12, 2024
  • Exofighters can ring in the new year by unlocking a Lion Dance hat skin for all 10 original Exosuits.

• Chocolate Campaign – Tuesday, Feb 13, 2024 – Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024
  • Exofighters can unlock a Chocolate Exosuit skin for all 10 original models to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

• Double XP Campaign – Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024 – Monday, Jan. 22, 2024
  • Additional Double XP Campaigns will be held at later dates.

That's all the news we have about Season 3 of Exoprimal. Season 4 is planned to begin in April 2024 adding more events and features to the game.

Exoprimal is currently 50% off on Steam to celebrate the launch of Season 3, so if you had your eye on the game, now might be the time to pick it up. It holds "Mostly Positive" reviews on Steam and has a Steam Deck Compatibility Rating of "Playable". We found in our review, that the game runs fine on the Steam Deck, as long as you're happy with playing at 30 FPS.
