Echo Point Nova Gets Steam Deck UI Changes With Huge New Content Update

Echo Point Nova is easily one of the best shooters to play on the Steam Deck. The open-world FPS is filled with high-octane shooting gameplay, hoverboards, grappling hooks, and tons of secrets to find in the open world. It's so much fun to play and feels great on the Deck, and with a new patch, we have more to do and hopefully some minor changes to make it easier to play.

With the new update, there have been a bunch of UI fixes to get the game ready for the Steam Deck Verified badge. Currently, the game is rated Playable due to small in-game text, so I assume that the UI changes that were implemented are to fix the small text.

This new update adds some incredible new content and breathes new life into the game. There's a new game mode called Rogue Mode, which changes up the game entirely with randomized items and spawns, an XP-based level system, an item shop, and wave-based combat that supports co-op. We also have a new weapon wheel, guns, perks, islands, stickers, and a ton of balancing changes like explosive hits now affecting mech weak points and the voxel destruction radius increasing.

Echo Point Nova is available on Steam for $24.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text. However, this update may get it that green checkmark!
