Playing RPGs on handheld or mobile devices is easily the best way to enjoy them. Being able to take the game wherever you go and put the device to sleep, especially with how long it can be, is significantly better than trying to sit down and play it on a PC or other console. One game that benefits immensely from this is Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The game is filled with content and can take over 60 hours to complete, which makes it perfect for portable play. And now's the best time to get it, with a sale going on right now for the base game and its season pass!

As part of the Warhammer Day sale on Steam, Rogue Trader is currently on a 40% off sale, bringing the price down to $29.99. While this is a lot compared to other games, which can see huge decreases going under $10, Rogue Trader more than makes up for it thanks to how much content it has, the great story, and intriguing combat with nice progression systems. If you are into Warhammer, the game is extremely lore-friendly, and developer Owlcat Games has outdone themselves.

And then we have the DLC, Void Shadows. It adds in a whopping 15 hours of content in a whole new story and brings in a brand new companion, new crewmembers, and new locations to explore. It costs $18, and while it isn't directly on sale, the game's season pass is! The pass includes Void Shadows and another expansion to be released later this year and is also 40% off, bringing it down from $30 to $18. it really does bring on so much more content to an already content-heavy game, making it well worth the money.

And it is great to play on the Steam Deck! While I am still working through the game and its fantastic DLC, Void Shadows, for our review, I am easily able to hit 30 FPS with good settings and can even push to 40 without sacrificing too much. It really is a perfect game to play on the go and well worth the compromises that may need to be made due to playing on a portable device.

Both of these deals will end on October 7th, so don't miss out on them if you are looking for a fantastic RPG that will be well worth your time.
