Late last month, Defender's Quest 2: Mists of Ruin launched onto Steam, the latest entry in the Defender's Quest tower defense series, challenging players to think tactically in order to survive the onslaught of enemies.
At launch though, there were some issues with widescreen support and Steam Deck controls in Defender's Quest 2. Thankfully, a hotfix has been released that fixes those issues and should make the game a more pleasant experience on your handhelds.
It appears as though there may be an issue with cloud saves currently, so you may want to keep an eye on that, as your saves may not transfer between your Steam Deck and your PC.
Defender's Quest 2: Mists of Ruin is available now on Steam for $19.99, although there's a 10% launch discount until February 9th. The game should work on the Steam Deck seeing as the developers are clearly aware of the Steam Deck and hot-fixing the game for issues with it.
