The indie sensation Cult of the Lamb has officially reached 3,500,000 units sold according to publisher Devolver Digital. To celebrate hitting this monumental milestone, a new content update, entitled Sins of the Flesh is being released on January 16th. This brings a ton of new changes to the game, check out the trailer below to see what some of them are:

  • New progression system which adds more depth and complexity to managing your cult.
  • New items and structures to help you take better care of your cult.
  • A new Blunderbuss weapon, allowing you to do devastating close-range and long-range attacks.
  • A new tailor building allows your followers to flaunt their fashion with unique outfits.
  • EGGS! When 2 cultists are in a relationship, they have a chance of finding an egg, allowing you to raise the offspring to become a member of the cult.

We're sure there are a few extras hidden here and there for you to find in this free content update, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for when it drops next Tuesday.

To celebrate the launch of this update, the game is also receiving a 40% discount for the week of January 16th-23rd. You can find Cult of the Lamb over on Steam, however, we recommend you wait a little while to purchase considering the confirmed discount coming soon.
