I remember when I first got my PS5 when it released and I played Bugsnax for the first time. It was an odd game that completely pulled one over on me, and I never guessed it would end the way it did. It's a great little game to play with more uniqueness than I expected, and the newest small update improves on some input images that appear on the Steam Deck.
In the new update, we have one specific fix for the Steam Deck. If you are playing with a mouse and keyboard, the wrong input images will show up. With the update, this should now be fixed, so there are no wrong images being shown. Luckily, most people on the Deck are probably playing this with the built-in controller, and won't be affected by this small issue.
Other than this, the update includes two other fixes. There is a small VR fix where a low framerate could stop you from returning to the game from SteamVR, and the raised teleport player location could prevent falling through the floor if you have a low framerate.
You can check out the changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.
Bugsnax is available on Steam for $24.99 and is rated Verified.
