I am always on the prowl for some new, awesome games to play, and this one almost immediately piqued my interest the moment I saw it. Ari Buktu and the Anytime Elevator is a new game that was just announced coming from one of the producers behind the Millennium Falcon ride at Disney's theme park in Hollywood. And I knew I was totally into it the second I saw the trailer:

As high school student Ari Buktu, you will be thrust into the past with your science teacher, Professor Lionel Raventhirpe, using his time machine elevator. The machine was built by the professor for the love of his life, history teacher Miss Barton, and now, you will have to travel across 13 different levels and 6 environments to help your professor.

This is a gorgeous game, and honestly, I absolutely adore the concept and aesthetic. It definitely gives me "Back to the Future" vibes, and I really dig the Ray-Man-esque models for each of the characters (no arms or legs). It looks like a quirky title that kinda fits the bill for puzzle and platforming, and it looks like a perfect game that I could find myself lost in on the Steam Deck.

Ari Buktu and the Anytime Elevator will be coming soon, and you can wishlist it now on Steam!
