A Dance of Fire and Ice Fixes Issues on Steam Deck

A Dance of Fire and Ice looks like a pretty intriguing rhythm game. You control two orbiting planets that go along a track, and you have to coordinate with the rhythm of the music. Not only is it unique and challenging, but there is also Steam Workshop support so people can create their own levels and share them with each other. Currently, there are over 20,000 mods here, so there's a solid amount of content to work through, and it looks so trippy. And the newest update should make it better to play on the Steam Deck.

There are two specific parts of this new update that affect the Steam Deck. Developer 7th Beat Games notes that they have fixed some issues with the game running on the Steam Deck, and Asynchronous Input has been disabled as an option on the Linux build of the game due to the bugs that can appear when using it. There aren't many more details on what was changed, but it should make gameplay much better.

The rest of the update has some other changes, like a redesigned pause menu and Sightreading warnings, but it also includes the first new Tech Levels introduced in the game. These are brand new levels that follow new charting conventions and look like a blast to play. There are seven levels included for free that were created by the community, and look extremely hard, and so much fun. A new radar system is also being introduced to gauge Tech Level's stats, such as speed and rhythm.
