Ed, the Psycho-Powered Boxer, Joins Street Fighter 6 as its 21st Playable Fighter!

Street Fighter 6 may not be the newest kid on the block when it comes to fighting games, but it's still alive and kicking! This latest update brings the Psycho-Powered Boxer 'Ed' to the fray, along with his additional cosmetics and content.

Players will be able to face off with Ed in the Fighting Ground, increase their bond with him as the latest Master to be added to World Tour, as well as equip their avatar with his moves in the Battle Hub.

CAPCOM has also stressed that there are balancing tweaks in this update, with a major balancing update due later this year.

As expected, in addition to the character himself, this update also adds Master Missions for Ed. Ed's story to the arcade mode, and Ed's Outfit 2, as well as Ed's colors 3-10 to the shop.

Street Fighter 6 is available on Steam for $59.99, and a demo is available now. The game plays well on the Steam Deck, as we noted in our review of the game last year. It also holds a "Verified" grade on the Steam Deck Compatibility rating.

Ed is available to owners of Street Fighter 6 Deluxe or Ultimate Editions, as well as owners of the Year 1 Character/Ultimate Pass. Or you can purchase Ed separately for 350 Fighter Coins, this includes Ed's Outfit 1 and Ed's colors 1 & 2.
