When Telltale announced The Expanse, I was so excited to see their return. I was even happier when The Expanse was released, as it confirmed the team still has the spark they once had in the past. Now, the third episode of the game is officially out, and I can't wait to see what it has in store!

In the third episode, the trail from the U.N.N. Urshinabi wreckage has led the crew to an abandoned station with no records. That is, except for a mysterious message and what's been left behind in the depths of this station. It will be up to you and the team to investigate the station, find anything salvageable, and figure out exactly what happened here.

While The Expanse is only available on the Epic store, it does play exceptionally well on the Steam Deck through Heroic. I was impressed with how well it ran, despite no shared shader cache, and it's fantastic. If you are a fan of heavy narrative-driven games where the choices you make can affect the story, definitely pick this game up!

You can purchase The Expanse on the Epic Games Store for $40. It comes with every episode, but they release once every 2 weeks until the 5th episode finale.
