Titan Quest 2, Gothic Remake, and More Announced From the THQ Nordic Showcase

Earlier today, a brand new showcase was released from THQ Nordic, showing some unannounced and announced upcoming games that we can all get excited about! From announced titles like Trine 5 and Alone in the Dark to new announcements like Titan Quest 2, here are the games that were announced in this brand new showcase:

THQ Nordic Showcase 2023 Games:

Titan Quest 2

The Titan Quest franchise is making its return and we can once more get immersed in the mythical realms of ancient Greece. We will be able to face new challenges, grind for loot, and combine masteries to create unique and powerful builds of your characters in the goal to stop nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution.

The game will be released on PC soon and can be wishlisted now on Steam.

Gothic Remake

It's time to return to The Colony with a full remake of Gothic 1. As a nameless hero, you will manage the fate of a convicted prisoner who will need to survive in a world filled with danger. With updates like a modernized combat system, this remake will be very faithful to the original, while getting it ready for modern times.

Gothic Remake will be released on PC and can be wishlisted now on Steam.

South Park: Snow Day!

A brand new South Park game is on the way and this is one you will get to experience with your friends. In this 3D co-op game, you and 3 others will celebrate a snow day in the best way possible, in a quest to save the world and not have to go to school!

There is no release date set just yet, but the game will be coming to PC.

Outcast - A New Beginning

The newest trailer for Outcast - A New Beginning dropped shows off the journey you will go on with Ulukaï, which is the name given to the hero of the game. He has been chosen to reunite the people of Adelpha and liberate it from the invaders. Now, you will have to learn how to forge alliances, gain powerful abilities, and act as a true hero to make a difference in this world.

Space for Sale

A mysterious planet far away that is home to exotic wildlife and creatures? Well, of course that's the perfect place to get rich! And as an intergalactic property developer, you will be able to do just that! Build habitats for these animals for alien clients and sell them for that sweet, sweet profit!

Space for Sale will be released on Steam and can be wishlisted now. You can also sign up for the closed beta now on THQ Nordic's website.

TMNT: The Last Ronin

Based off the best-selling comic book event, TMNT: The Last Ronin is the official video game adaptation of this series. There isn't much info about it yet, other than this takes place in the future in New York City where a single turtle embarks on a hopeless mission to seek justice for his lost family.

The game will be releasing on PC, but there isn't much information revealed just yet.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy

A new trailer was shown off for Trine 5, the 2.5D co-op platformer. The new trailer highlights the couch co-op aspect of the game, highlighting what makes it so much fun to play with friends in-person.

Alone in the Dark

In the showcase, we got to hear from Jodie Comer and David Harbour, who are playing the protagonists of Alone in the Dark. Each one had a few words to say about the game and see a bit more of their incredible performances.

Alone in the Dark can be wishlisted now on Steam and releases on October 25th.

Last Train Home

Next, we got the world premiere of the first gameplay trailer for Last Train Home. This is a survival strategy game that has been inspired by historical events and it looks fabulous. We actually got to play a little bit of Last Train Home at PAX East earlier this year and seeing it again just makes me more excited for the release.

Tempest Rising

Temprest Rising, the gorgeous upcoming RTS, got a brand new trailer. In the trailer, you will get a sneak peek into the action-packed gameplay you will experience for yourself soon. On top of that, there is a playtest that you can request access to right now that will be live from now until August 28th.

Wreckreation

Probably one of the more ambitious racing games I have seen in awhile, Wreckreation will allow you and friends to build your very own worlds, tracks, and more across 400 square kilometers of land. Of course, there is arcade racing, but you will truly be able to make a world of your own design with little compromises.

Wreckreation can be wishlisted now on Steam.

Way of the Hunter DLC

And finally, we have the release of a brand new DLC for Way of the Hunter that introduces players to the captivating African Wilds. Tikamoon Plains is an uncharted landscape that is ripe for exploration and new animal species. There is also an assortment of new gameplay enhancements, weapons, and expanded difficulty of options.

Tikamoon Plains is available now for $10 on Steam or can be included with the Hunter Season Pass that is available for $20.

And that's all we have from this showcase! There were a ton of new exciting announcements that got me pumped for the future! Titan Quest 2, the Gothic Remake, and the TMNT game all have my interest most, but each game here looks incredible and I can't wait to see more!
