Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

As someone who loves the Arkham series, I am excited for Rocksteady's next title...though maybe a little less now. Today, a Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League FAQ was posted and revealed some information about the upcoming game. This includes the voice actors, affirming the release date (May 26th), and some gameplay mechanics like swapping characters if playing without 4 players. Unfortunately, one of the things they did confirm was that the game will require an active internet connection to play the game in solo or multiplayer modes:

Q: IS AN INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED TO PLAY SUICIDE SQUAD: KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE?

A: Yes, an internet connection is required to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League solo or via online co-op.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League FAQ

For those of us playing on the Steam Deck, this could hamper our enjoyment of taking the game on-the-go. This won't have an effect on those who only play at home or where there is a constant internet connection, but for those like me who enjoy taking the Deck wherever I go, this will curb that.

They don't go into the specifications for the game yet, so we can't assume how it will run, but they did confirm there will be post-launch content and microtransactions. The microtransactions include optional purchases and a battle pass with a premium tier that only include cosmetics and nothing that affects gameplay. They also reaffirmed the game won't have loot boxes!
