This week was a fantastic one for new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games! Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and The Sims 2 got their Playable badges, while upcoming games Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 got their green checkmarks. UFO 50 also got its well-deserved Verified badge, which I am shocked it didn't have at launch.

Here are the 12 highlights we found:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (Verified)

Embark on an over-the-top, modern-day pirate adventure with an ex-yakuza, now pirate captain & his crew. Engage in exhilarating combat on land and sea in the hunt for lost memories and treasure.

The game can be pre-purchased for $59.99 ahead of its February 20th release date. It is rated Verified.

The Sims 2 Legacy Collection (Playable)

The game you know and love. For Windows 10/11. In The Sims 2, you direct your Sims over a lifetime. Give them a long existence or leave their lives in shambles. Guide their characteristics from one generation to the next.

The game is $29.99 and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, and small in-game text.

Karate Survivor (Playable)

Become a martial arts master in this survivor-like roguelite inspired by action movies of the ‘80s. Use your fists, feet, and the environment to fight off relentless thugs. Master powerful combos, enhance your skills, and remember: everything around you is a weapon!

The game is $4.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text.

Rising Front (Playable)

A FPS WW1 & Revolutionary War battle simulator with a focus on Workshop Content, rag-doll physics, intelligent AI, massive battles, procedural AI cover system, real-time building system and FPS combat!

The game is $14.99 and is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, manually bringing up the virtual keyboard, needing to manually configure the graphics settings and resolution, and small in-game text.

Hyper Light Breaker (Playable)

Enter the Overgrowth, a new realm in the world of Hyper Light. Play alone or with friends to explore open worlds, create new builds, rip through hordes and overcome the Crowns and the Abyss King.

The game is $29.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard.

The Spirit of the Samurai (Playable)

A village in peril. A samurai reanimated. An Oni advancing. Fight an army of undead warriors and Japanese monsters as a human, a Kodama, and a cat in this 2D stop-motion action adventure.

The game is $19.99 and rated Playable due to small in-game text and needing to set the resolution manually.

Rift of the Necrodancer (Verified)

The NecroDancer's back in an all-new rhythm game! Dragged into a strange new world, Cadence must engage in musical combat with monsters surging through the Rift! Face pulse-pounding Rhythm Rifts where every beat is a battle, all set to an original soundtrack by Danny Baranowsky & friends.

The game is on sale for $17.99 until February 11th and is rated Verified.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (Verified)

Capcom's new fighting collection hits the stage! Choose from fan-favorite games like Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 and Project Justice to 3D action games like Power Stone and Power Stone 2 in this collection of eight classic fighting games!

The game can be pre-purcahsed for $39.99 ahead of its May 16th release date. It is rated Verified.

UFO 50 (Verified)

UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.

The game is $24.99 and rated Verified.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (Playable)

Embody the superhuman skill and brutality of a Space Marine. Unleash deadly abilities and devastating weaponry to obliterate the relentless Tyranid swarms. Defend the Imperium in spectacular third-person action in solo or multiplayer modes.

Turbo Dismount 2 (Playable)

Turbo Dismount 2 is a comedy physics racing sandbox with Mr. Dismount and his friends. It is the officially ambitious sequel to the wildly popular, immensely successful, world-renowned entertainment juggernaut - Turbo Dismount.

The game is $19.99 and is rated Playable due to needing manual configuration of graphics settings for optimal play.
