There are a lot of different games and media I have seen that inject a Steam Deck or Steam Deck-like device into whatever is being shown. It's awesome to see it, but when it happens, it's usually just a Steam Deck appearing in the scene to some degree. This is the first time I have seen it integrated into something else to the point that I had to physically do a double-take because I was shocked at what I was seeing.

I saw a post on the r/UnexpectedSteamDeck Reddit that showed a Counter-Strike 2 mod a user made. This mod, made by madpoly, has a Steam Deck that was molded into a Shotgun. One side of the shotgun has the complete front of the Steam Deck in it, while the back has the intake vent, two back buttons, and the word "DECK." The top also has the outtake vent, power button, volume buttons, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This is on the sawed-off shotgun model in-game:

I am kind of torn on how I feel about the model. On one hand, it looks really sleek and awesome, and I love how the creator found a way to add in the elements of the Steam Deck into a gun. On the other hand...well it's just pretty weird looking when in-game. The buttons and joysticks are all flat in-game, making it look a bit awkward overall. Still, this is one of the craziest things I have seen the Deck integrated into.

I was curious to see if any other guns had a similar Deck integration, and lo and behold, there is another! Modder KOSTO-MOSTO put the front, back, and top of the Steam Deck into a P90 submachine gun. Again, the buttons and joysticks are all flat, but I still found it pretty unique to see people do this. I would say the shotgun looks a bit better because the P90 splits the screen about 1/3 of the way in, but I still kind of dig it:

While there's very little chance this will make it into the game publicly, it is pretty cool to see. This is one of the more interesting ways the Deck has been integrated, albeit very weird overall.
