There was a new Proton GE update that was released yesterday that updates its components and adds in some new protonfixes to help get games running! We have some fixes for Full Metal Daemon Muramasa, Bully: Scholarship Edition, Dirt 2, and CYGNI: All Guns Blazing, while winetricks, dxvk, and vkd3d have been updated and the latest upstream Proton and Steam Client changes have been implemented.

Proton GE 9-12 Update Changelog:

proton:

  • added latest upstream proton changes
  • added latest upstream steamclient changes
  • updated wine to latest bleeding edge
  • updated dxvk to latest git
  • updated vkd3d to latest git

protonfixes:

  • libmspack, xrandr, cabextract are now built as part of the proton-ge build process instead of being included as prebuilt binaries (thanks R1kaB3rN)
  • winetricks updated to latest git
  • star citizen protonfix updated (thanks marcan)
  • fix added for Full Metal Daemon Muramasa (thanks R1kaB3rN)
  • fix install location of xlive.dll for xliveless (thanks ProjectSynchro)
