NeoDuel: Backpack Monsters is an interesting take on the monster-trainer genre. It is described as a PvP inventory auto-battler, meaning you will move the monsters in your backpack around to create combos in tactical fashion and rise through the ranks to be the most powerful battler. It definitely has an interesting look and feel to it, and recently, it got a nice fix that makes it more enjoyable to play if you use a desktop and Steam Deck.

A new hotfix for the game was released a couple of days ago, and while it had some new features, it also has a nice bugfix that helps us out! There were some issues with cloud saves which caused players to have different instances of their games on both platforms. This means you may have progressed further in one save over the other on two different devices, making it impossible to save correctly. This feature has been optimized, and now things should be very fluid from Steam Deck to PC and back!

On top of this fix, we also have more refined keyboard shortcuts to make playing a bit easier. This also translates to the Steam Deck due to the game not having controller support yet, so it should be easier to make Steam Input configurations. There was also a bug fixed where some fusions wouldn't work as intended, and some overall monster and essence balance changes.
