It has been almost a month since Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP came out on Steam, and while it was exciting, the release was lacking in some very normal PC features that have become the norm, like graphical options you can change in-game. In response to the feedback, developer Dragami Games responded that they are working on it and doing what they can to fix the problems, which include Steam Deck support. And it seems like this is starting now, with the newest update.
The update that was released fixes up a bunch of bug fixes, which is nice, but the big addition is being able to change graphics settings. While this is fantastic, it isn't exactly what I would have preferred to see. Specifically, you can change between Performance Mode or Fidelity Mode, prioritizing framerate or visual quality, but nothing else. I do appreciate having some options, and Performance Mode does run really well on the Steam Deck so far, but I did wish for more in-depth options that I could change.
At the end of the announcement, DRAGAMI makes a note about Steam Deck support, which is currently in progress. It is fantastic to see that this is being worked on, and I am glad there's at least a way to play now and it runs decently. There still needs to be some testing throughout the game, but the outside areas were genuinely the heavy-hitting spots, and these are fixed. I look forward to seeing what the Steam Deck adjustments will be and how they will affect the game on the go!

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available on Steam for $44.99 and is rated Steam Deck Unsupported, but it does seem to be playable.
