When it comes to 3D city-building management games on the Steam Deck, a lot have some sort of issue with performance. We have seen this a lot with games like Cities Skylines and High Rise City, but luckily, that isn't the case with all of them. Kingdoms and Castles is an early access game that works quite well on the Steam Deck, and today, they not only fixed some UI elements for the Deck, but got the green checkmark from Valve.

Along with other improvements, like allowing carts to pick up and drop off from swineherds and reducing the cost of some items, there have been some UI improvements for person and transport ships that were too small on the Steam Deck. This is a fantastic change, considering the game has officially become Steam Deck Verified! While the green checkmark isn't an indicator of how well a game runs on the device, it is nice to see as it markets the device further for those who may be on the fence about purchasing.

Kingdoms and Castles is available on Steam in Early Access for $14.99.
