It has been a long time since I heard the name Grand Chase. First released in 2008 in the US, this is a free-to-play action RPG that has a solid amount of content, and after it was released on Steam, it has been receiving quite a number of updates. Yesterday, we had a new update that, while adding in new content, also included Steam Deck support.
In yesterday's update, we got official controller support for the Steam Deck, so we can enjoy Grand Chase Classic on the go. There was also Xbox and Dualsense controller support added too, which is nice to see, but for portable play, the Deck is the way to go.
Other than that, this update brought with it a new dungeon event. The Dimensional Chaser Event Dungeon is now available where you can join in, clear the dungeon, and acquire new gear, scrolls, and more. There are two event titles and monster cards to now acquire, and the more you attend, the more rewards you will get! There is also a new login event and weekly chain missions to receive even bigger rewards. We also got some bug fixes and improvements here.
You can view the full changelog over on their Steam Community Post.
Grand Chase is available for free on Steam. It is rated as Steam Deck Unsupported, and there aren't many reports of the game working, but if it's having updates with the Steam Deck in mind, support may have been added recently.
