Everspace 2 is an awesome space shooter, and Rockfish Games has announced new DLC for the game in Wrath of the Ancients!

I have always been a big fan of Everspace 2, and Wrath of the Ancients looks like a chunky expansion. It’ll take place after the main story of the game, and players get to take on new ancient, deadly alien threats. There are four new star systems to explore, each packed with new enemies, weapons, and gear to discover.

I like the sound of the narrative around the DLC too. Mysterious attacks have laid waste to human settlements in Cluster 34, destabilizing factions in power and stranding survivors. The uneasy peace between humankind and Okkar is threatened, and you must explore Okkar Homeworlds to discover the truth behind the threat before war returns.

Everspace 2: Wrath of the Ancients can be wishlisted on Steam, although there is no scheduled release date or price yet for the DLC. Have you played Everspace 2 before? Let us know in the comments!
