Cult of the Lamb Soundtrack Goes Metal: Hymns of the Unholy Releases on October 28th

Cult of the Lamb: Hymns of the Unholy is a six-track metal reimagining of River Boy's award-winning soundtrack for the indie hit Cult of the Lamb, which was produced by Massive Monster, Devolver Digital, and Laced Records in collaboration with some of the biggest names in metal. The already evocative soundtrack is made even more epic and intense by this collaboration, which offers a distinctive fusion of heavy metal and video game music.

Now available is the lead single, "CULT," which also features a brand-new Half Giant-animated music video. The video creates a visual journey that depicts the Lamb's ascent to Godhood by fusing new scenes with footage from previous Cult of the Lamb trailers. The video is above!

The album, which was produced at Mammoth Sound Studio by Sam George (Pick Up Goliath), showcases a stellar line-up of metal musicians. With guitar work by Scott LePage and Clay Gober (Polyphia), Javier Reyes (Animals as Leaders), Josh Baines (Malevolence), and Sean Long (While She Sleeps), Howard Jones (Light the Torch, Sion, ex-Killswitch Engage) and Matthew K. Heafy (Trivium) provide vocals. Mike Malyan, a former member of the Monuments, plays drums and gives a powerful performance throughout the album.

The vinyl, which is available in an exclusive edition on Devolver Digital's store, is available for preorder by fans. Additionally, two t-shirts with Nekromorph's logo design and Godmachine's original artwork are for sale. The entire album is already available for pre-sale and will be released on October 28 on all major music platforms.

What is Cult of the Lamb?

Cult of the Lamb is a 2022 action-packed roguelike that combines aspects of dark comedy, management, and dungeon crawling. Players take on the role of a possessed lamb who is saved from death by an enigmatic entity in this PC and console game. Players must cultivate a devoted following of woodland creatures and guide their cult through a world full of rival cults, dark secrets, and false prophets in order to repay this favour.
