Fanatical has been hitting it out of the park with their flash deals during their summer sale, and it looks like we have another banger on our hands! The Baten Kaitos 1+2 HD Remaster headlines the deals with it at its lowest price ever, the Star Wars Collection is heavily discounted and includes great titles like Knights of the Old Republic and The Force Unleashed, and The Forgotten City Deluxe Edition is further discounted as well! They all work great on Steam Deck, just like the recommendations we found from the summer sale itself.
Either way, here are the flash deals for today:
Baten Kaitos 1+2 HD Remaster - $29.49 (41% Off)
Delve into the world of Baten Kaitos as you strategize with the unique card-based battle system in these two immersive RPG masterpieces. Play as a guardian spirit who guides the colorful cast as they struggle against destiny itself. Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins are now on Steam with improved graphics and new features to aid game progression, making them even easier to play!
The game doesn't have a Steam Deck rating, but it runs wonderfully on Deck. This is definitely my favorite way to experience the series and I am so glad it came to PC/Steam Deck.
Star Wars Collection - $12.99 (87% Off)
A giant collection of classic Star Wars games that are wonderful to play on the Steam Deck! We have the Knights of the Old Republic games, The Force Awakens, Jedi Knight 1 and 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005 edition), Empire at War, Starfighter, and more. It's a great way to get the Star Wars games available on Steam and play them on the go, and most, if not all, of the games work like a charm!
The Forgotten City Digital Collector's Edition - $10.07 (68% Off)
The Forgotten City is a narrative-driven time loop adventure in ancient Rome. Discover the ruins of an ancient underground city, travel 2000 years into the past, and unravel the mystery of who destroyed it by cleverly exploiting the power to wind back time. The fate of the city is in your hands.
The digital collectors edition includes the soundtrack and collectors DLC, which includes a hand-painted map you can print and a 3D model of Magistrate Sentius to 3D print. The game is rated Steam Deck Verified.
These deals above only last 24 hours, so make sure you grab them while you can! Baten Kaitos is my personal favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of these. The summer sale has a ton of other deals though, so if none of these interest you, there's a lot more to check out!
