Tower defense games are some great fun when the time is right, and Artisan TD looks like a unique version of the genre. Not only are you placing towers down to defend against incoming waves of enemies, but the towers you place can change the path that the waves will be following. It also has this nice realistic-esque storybook style to it that I love. And there was a new update that was just released, which not only adds some new content but fixes up some sprites on the Steam Deck.

Specifically, the update fixes up some gamepad sprites that appear on the Steam Deck. This should mean that the sprites that show the gamepad icons on the Deck are not only accurate but also more legible and easier to see.

While the Steam Deck-specific fixes are low, there is more to this update for us to enjoy! We have a brand new game mode called "Prince Mode," which gives more starting coins and 10% more interest, a new board, a brand new boss, new tips, UI changes, 100% finished Turkish translation, and some board changes to make them better to play.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Artisan TD is on sale for $11.89 until February 26th.
