Fraymakers is one of my favorite 2D platform fighters that exist right now. Developed by the team that made Super Smash Flash, Fraymakers lets you select from multiple popular indie characters to fight against each other, like Octodad and Downwell, with a bunch of assist characters that are also based on popular indies and classic characters like Among Us's Crewmate and Fancy Pants Man. And the new update that was released fixes up some issues people may be experiencing on the Steam Deck.
The smaller update that was released includes two main fixes that specifically affect the Steam Deck. Any distorted sprites have been fixed, while the occasional soft lock of the game at launch will no longer be a problem. Two other issues that have been appearing were squashed: allocating texture memory and an error that fails to initialize DirectX's driver.
This update is on the experimental branch, and you can try it out by going to the Betas tab and selecting the experimental option. They mention that the loading experience in this branch will be massively improved, especially for those who are using any sort of custom content from the workshop.
You can check out the changelog for yourself via their Steam Community Post.
Fraymakers is available on Steam for $19.99 and is rated Steam Deck playable due to needing a community controller configuration, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, and needing to manually choose the correct display resolution.
