Wild Card Football is Getting Its First Premium DLC in the Form of the 'Legacy QB Pack'

I can't say I know much about American Football, but I'll do my best here! Saber Interactive has announced that Wild Card Football is getting its first post-launch premium DLC. In addition to this, a new, free update will be made available soon. The free update will add a new field, as well as players, cosmetics, vanities, and celebrations!

We don't have a release date for the Legacy QB Pack DLC yet, or the free update, but we've been assured that they are "coming soon".

The players included in the Legacy QB Pack are Warren Moon, Steve Young, Kurt Warner, and Randall Cunningham. Each player will come with their own unique outfits.

In case you aren't familiar with Wild Card Football, it is an arcade take on the game of American Football, where you assemble a 7-player squad and advance through different challenges and events, taking on other teams and unlocking new players to use in your squad. You can unleash "Wild Cards" as a twist to give you the advantage, change the rules of the game, and even place invisible walls on the field!

Wild Card Football also boasts local and online multiplayer, so you can show your friends who is the best.

We did a review of the game back when it launched, and found that it runs pretty well on the Deck, with the ability to run at 30 FPS to save battery life, or 60 FPS if you want that smooth playing experience.

Wild Card Football is available now on Steam for $39.99, it holds "Mixed" User reviews, and is rated as "Playable" on Steam Deck Compatibility.
