Black Myth: Wukong Tops The Top 20 Most Played Steam Deck Games of August 2024

The new month is here, and that means we can see which games were played most in the previous month, and it is quite interesting. While we expected August to have a surge of people playing Black Myth: Wukong, it is surreal seeing how many are playing it on the Steam Deck, but it is in the top spot! We also see the return of Diablo 4, Cult of the Lamb, and the inclusion of the awesome indie title Fields of Mistria, so this list is pretty great. This list was snapshotted on September 1st, and uses the range August 3rd to September 1st:

Compared to last month's list, we have a couple of changes:

New Games Added:

I am so happy to see Fields of Mistria there. Indie titles are amazing, and to see a new release succeeding so well on the portable platform is awesome. I am sad that Kingdom Hearts is no longer there, and a little surprised Fallout 4 is beating out Hades 2 (purely based on how well each game runs), but it's still a great list. Black Myth: Wukong is a hard game to run on Steam Deck though, so check out our review if you'd like to see our recommended settings!
