Noctuary's New Free DLC Makes it Perfect for the Steam Deck

Noctuary was one of the best visual novels of 2023 with its surprisingly good plot and interesting action RPG combat, although it was sometimes a struggle getting it to work properly on the Steam Deck. However, a special Lite version of the game has launched that provides official compatibility with it, along with major performance improvements!

A free DLC separate from the main game, Noctuary Lite is built for lower spec systems in general by rebuilding resource loading for reduced memory consumption and compressed art assets, and Steam Deck players are specifically recommended to use the Lite version. In order to access it, players must download the Lite Version DLC, go to properties, DLC, then check the Lite Version and click Play. It will replace the base game and launch in Lite Version mode.

Noctuary is available on Steam for $29.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text and incorrect controller icons.
