Hello to all of our readers! The end of the year is almost here, and now is a great time to sit back and celebrate with family, friends, and loved ones. With Christmas being today, and New Years coming soon, we just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. And of course, I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting us by reading our work or interacting with us on our socials.

Being an independent outlet isn't easy. We don't have the financial backing that bigger outlets have, and we have to compete with AI scraping our website and taking our information without our permission. Unfortunately, this is something we have been affected by, but we are doing our best to overcome it and still bring our news, reviews, and evaluations on how games are running on the Steam Deck, no matter what.

We have a lot of plans and additions for the site moving into 2026, especially as the Steam Machine is going to come out, and yes, we will be covering it. There will be much more going on as well, as we try to expand what coverage we can put out and topics we can cover, while still keeping the Steam Deck as our core focus and sticking within that realm.

We have also expanded to making shorts. While our YouTube views have been a little disappointing recently, despite posting daily with unique content, our TikTok has grown considerably, getting almost 3k new followers in a month. That is why you may have noticed more short-form videos on our YouTube channel, since we make them for TikTok and cross-post some of them. With only one person (me) handling all the video editing, it became more worthwhile to do short-form and post on TikTok, seeing as we are getting a lot of traction there.

If you want to support us, please keep reading our articles on our website or watching our videos. That's probably the best way to really support us, since the AI overviews and search summaries are making existing much harder. And if you want to support our video endeavors, follow or subscribe to us on YouTube or TikTok.

Thank you again for all of your support and for reading our work, and expect a lot more from us coming next year! There are tons of great games to review, handhelds and accessories to check out, and of course, the illustrious Steam Machine and Steam Controller to look forward to. We have plans for it all, so stay tuned for another great year ahead.
