Fate/Samurai Remnant Gets its 1st DLC: Record’s Fragment: Keian Command Championship

Launching back in September of 2023, action RPG Fate/Samurai Remnant has just received its first piece of DLC.

Record's Fragment: Keian Command Championship adds all-new story elements to the game, as well as introducing some new controllable characters. Are you ready to take part in the fight as Masters and Servants team up to compete in the ultimate tournament against some of Fate's greatest fighters?

The boss of Babyloni-ya has summoned Masters and Servants alike to a mysterious arena. It is in this arena where he announces the beginning of the Keian Command Championship. Players will be able to control characters other than Iori and Saber, allowing you to see the story from different perspectives. Cutscenes between matches will help players learn more about the characters, and the winners of the tournament will display an ending sequence that's unique to each team.

A new Servant is also joining the fight, Divine Spirit Ibuki-Douji. Depending on your team, you may be able to directly control Ibuki-Douji. Apparently, once you reach a certain "condition", you will be able to recruit Ibuki-Douji and the boss of Babyloni-ya as Rogue Servants in the main story.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is available to purchase now on Steam, it is currently at a 30% discount for $41.99, down from $59.99. The DLC is available as a separate purchase for $14.99, or as part of the Season Pass, which is available for $39.99 and contains 3 DLC Episodes as well as the Hallowed Relic Sword Mountings in-game item.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is graded as "Verified" on the Steam Deck, and offers partial controller support. We gave it a 4/5 for its performance on Steam Deck in our review last year.
