AYANEO Teases REMAKE - A New Concept Release

AYANEO Has been on the ball lately with the devices it has been releasing. While it does seem like they release a lot of handhelds, each one has a unique design and place that sets it apart to some degree. Now, it seems AYANEO is teasing something new and doubling down on the retro-style with a product dubbed "AYANEO REMAKE."

While there isn't much information released about this yet, it sounds like this should be something visual, like skins or covers, rather than another handheld. In their tweet/post on X, AYANEO specifically mentions "Retro color schemes" and that the company is amping something up to take this further. The design showcased on the announcement looks interesting though. The font and overall design brings out this 1970s sci-fi vibe, and I am digging it.

On their Discord server, another post was made that dives a little deeper into this. John Nee, a member of the AYANEO team, mentions that they are taking a leap with REMAKE that goes beyond "color schemes." While this can leave things a bit more up in the air, it's still quite hard to nail down what this could be.

There will be more information announced tomorrow, so we will soon know more, but until then, I am awaiting with baited breath to see what AYANEO is cooking up! The announcement will be taking place at 10:30pm PT tomorrow on their YouTube channel.
