If you are a fan of games where you have to work together with a group of people to determine who among you are the good and who are the bad, then Deceit 2 is right up your alley. This social deduction game creates a creepy, yet engaging atmosphere as you try to find out who among you are the infected. And with today's update, it should be getting a little easier to play on the Steam Deck!
In today's update, Deceit 2 has added FSR 2 into the game. While this is something that could help on any system, this is a game that took a little more work to run, preferably on the Steam Deck. With FSR 2, we should be able to either increase the graphical quality with a lower FPS or even push for a higher one, depending on how well it was implemented. We also have full controller compatibility too!
Other than that, the new update announced that Deceit 2 will be going free to play in the first quarter of this year and to expect more content, optimization, balancing, and more ahead of their roadmap announcement on the 30th. As for this update, there are some bugs fixed, improved transitions, task changes, and UI improvements.
You can check out the full changelog on their Steam Community Post.
Deceit 2 is available on Steam now for $9.99 and rated Steam Deck Playable due to manually enabling controller support in-game (which might not be an issue anymore); entering text requires bringing up the virtual keyboard, and some in-game text may be small. While you can buy it now, it will be going free to play soon, so if you can, I encourage you to wait!
