A new ‘Civilization’ competitor is coming to Steam next week in Yield! Fall of Rome, and it is looking to be great on the Steam Deck!

Designed to be a fast and accessible 4x title, Yield Fall of Rome will hit Steam Early Access on January 20. Developed by Billionworlds, Fall of Rome might prove a good candidate for those who prefer quicker strategy games.

In most 4x titles, waiting for units or buildings to be created will take a long time, Yield! Fall of Rome bucks this trend. Forget endless micromanagement and lead legendary tribes such as the Britons, Huns, and Franks against the mighty Roman Empire. Fall of Rome is built with the Steam Deck in mind, and I cannot wait to see how it plays.
