Yet Another Zombie Survivors has continued to grow since its successful launch back in 2023, and the frantic bullet hell combat in fighting off hordes of the undead is always entertaining. A new development update is out this week, and while it is not a game patch, the information it holds is essential for players.

First of all, there’s good news for us in that Yet Another Zombie Survivors is officially Steam Deck Verified, with improvements to the font size and continual improvements for the Deck being the final hurdle to gain the Verified badge. The bad news is that the ongoing Cloud Save issue has yet to be identified, although the team is hard at work trying to find the cause.

For now, the Leaderboard system has been disabled to help diagnose the underlying issue, and local save game backups are in place to hopefully reduce the damage. Anyone who has had their save files damaged by the issue can have them restored by filling out the form here.
