It's still hard to believe that after over 15 years since World of Goo's release, we finally have a sequel. World of Goo 2 continues what the original started, where you will build and terraform the terrain using your goo buddies to complete puzzles. It's awesome to see it return, and even more awesome to see that it is getting better to play on the Steam Deck.

A new update for the game was released yesterday, and it includes a couple of changes. Offline mode is now supported, and there were targeted fixes for the Steam Deck. The changelog doesn't note any specifics, though, so I am not sure what else specifically changed. However, they also mentioned a fix for sound utilization and an error display.
There really wasn't any worry I had with it running on the Steam Deck before, but it's always nice to see some fixes. The game may not have controller support, but it does have a native Linux build and runs perfectly fine on the Deck already. The offline mode support is the biggest win from this patch, so now we can play wherever we are without any issue.
You can check out the changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

World of Goo 2 is on sale for $20.99 until May 9th.

I had no clue this released on Steam. I thought you had to buy direct from Tomorrow Corp. Bravo!
For a while they had an exclusivity deal with Epic(which was not really "exclusive", moreso a not-on-Steam deal), and a little while ago the contract ended(?) and it got released on Steam. Honestly, until looking it up a minute ago I also completely forgot it was on Steam lol.
