The Talos Principle: Reawakened has just been revealed, and aims to be a radical overhaul of the original game, with new visuals, quality-of-life features, a new chapter in the story, and more!

This new version of The Talos Principle is built using Unreal Engine 5 and the features that it brings, so expect better lighting as well as higher quality textures and some improved visual all-round.

The developers are also planning various quality-of-life features, such as a hint system to help you with the puzzles, as well as the ability to rewind time to make the game more accessible to players.

The new story chapter will be focused on exploring the origins of the Simulation, and the remaster will also feature the Road to Gehenna DLC from the original game.

If that's not all, enjoy a new puzzle editor, which will allow you to create your own worlds and challenges and share them with others in the community.

The Talos Principle: Reawakened is due to launch on PC via Steam in 2025, you can wishlist the game right now.

Given the game's system requirements, it's touch-and-go as to whether this one will run on the Steam Deck, but we do at least have full controller support promised, and the original game can still be played well on the Steam Deck.
