Stellar Blade's Twitter Account Posts Video Of The Game Running on Steam Deck

I love seeing upcoming games getting announced to have Steam Deck support, and Stellar Blade is one of them. Initially launching as a PS5 exclusive, Stellar Blade's developers, Shift Up, announced that the game would be coming to PC as well, with hints that it would be compatible with the Steam Deck. I do have my worries, seeing as the game looks quite intense and benefits from higher frame rates, but it looks like the developers are all in on the Deck, and I couldn't be happier.

In a post made to Twitter/X by the official Stellar Blade account, and brought to our attention by Washington Post writer Gene Park's repost of the original post, we see the game actually running on the Deck, and it looks solid so far:

Admittedly, this doesn't look like an area that is too detailed or busy, and it's a bit too far away to tell how good the quality looks and the framerate it's running, but it's still awesome to see. It looks smooth enough from further away, and if Shift Up feels confident enough showing it, I hope it's because they feel the entire game would be great to play on the go.

Stellar Blade can be wishlisted ahead of its release in June 2025. There are no recommended or minimum system requirements posted yet, but it looks like that it will be playable on the Steam Deck to some degree!
