SteamDolls the Stealth-Action Platformer is Out Now in Early Access

We reported a little while ago about the release date of SteamDolls, a new stealth-action platformer from the team over at The Shady Gentleman. Well, the game has just been released onto Steam Early Access for $19.99, with a 15% discount for the first 2 weeks.

In SteamDolls, you'll play as Whisper and have to make your choice between the stealthy route or the brutal route as you explore an anarchist steampunk city inspired by the comic books of yesteryear.

There is a demo available, which runs you through the intro of the game, and the current Early Access release of the game is estimated to have around 5-7 hours of content, spanning 6 chapters of the story. The developers will be taking on board player feedback to improve the game heading up to the 1.0 launch.

You'll be able to upgrade Whisper to your skill tree as you progress the story and enjoy fully voiced cinematic cutscenes, featuring the voices of David Hayer (Metal Gear Solid) and Jennifer Hale (from basically every game ever).

Which option will you choose? Will you stay in the shadows and avoid conflict as much as you can? Or will you break out some brutal finishing moves and take down your foes head-on?

SteamDolls is available now in Steam Early Access for $19.99, although there is a 15% launch discount for the first 2 weeks. The game hasn't been rated for Steam Deck yet, but it has low system requirements and full controller support, so it should work just fine.
