1047 Games has released a new trailer for Splitgate 2, showcasing the latest map creator feature. The Lab is the newest map creator feature that will be available on May 22, before the open beta.

Splitgate 2

You can deep dive in and modify custom maps using this powerful creator. The Lab has been made to be easy to use, making it simple to fulfill your wildest map-making dreams. You can choose to play with up to 16 of your friends, allowing you to share the maps with players around the globe. There are different blank canvas templates to get you started, including prefabricated map items courtesy of SSL, environmental props, and other gameplay items.

The Lab is just the beginning for the community, as 1047 is planning to bring more content to the map creator system post-launch. The Splitgate 2 open beta launches on May 22.
