I used to love skiing and snowboarding games like SSX, but I have always wanted a more freestyle version of the game to just ski through the wilderness. SNØ: Ultimate Freeriding looks like exactly the game I've been looking for. You ski through an endless wilderness in third or first person, trying to get as high a score as possible or just dodging obstacles. It looks awesome, and with the newest patch, it will be even more awesome on the Steam Deck.

Their new 1.0.0.1.67 patch was released earlier today, and it includes some fantastic performance improvements. They don't go into detail exactly, but they do mention that the game will now be able to run at 60 FPS at the "Very High" quality setting! This is wonderful, and it sounds like developer Studio Gauntlet has always been prioritizing optimization. On the store page, they mention the game runs at "High" on the Deck, so it makes me happy that they are trying to make it as great as possible.
The rest of the update does a lot to make the game better in general, too. We have two new achievements, adjustments to the scores for certain actions, steering while grinding is more powerful, better whiteout and more forgiving torso collision detection, and you won't phase through some obstacles anymore. We also have an update for Steam screenshots, where your "location" will mention the current mountain seed!
このアップデートの変更履歴はSteam Community Postで確認できる。

SNØ: Ultimate Freeriding is available on Steam for $11.99 and is rated Verified.
