I can't say I know much about Scorchlands; I only just saw it an hour or so ago, but I am quite intrigued by its premise. It's a hex-grid strategy game where you colonize and use tech and magic to build cities and manage resources while maneuvering around logistics to supply and balance resources throughout your cities. It looks wonderful and very colorful, so I am very happy to see Steam Deck compatibility included in the 1.0 release.

Before the 1.0 release, developer Ringlab had a roadmap they wanted to clear before it was fully released out of early access. One of these was gamepad/controller support, and with that done, playing on the Deck should be significantly better. But on top of that, the developer mentions that the game now has Steam Deck compatibility with this launch. There's even a video that was released showing gameplay on the Deck. It doesn't show any stats, but I still love to see some care in showing what you could expect:
The update leading to 1.0 has introduced many new features into the game. There are achievements, customizable difficulties, new visuals for the villagers, and even a full-on Endgame! It's awesome to see this amount of overhauling going into a full release, and it makes me want to play the game even more.
You can check out the announcement for the 1.0 release from their Steam Community Post.

Scorchlands is available on Steam and on sale at 50% off for $5.99 until August 8th to celebrate its release. It is rated Unknown, but per the developer, the game is fully compatible and can maintain 60 FPS and has UI scaling for the smaller screen. I can't verify that it will for sure maintain 60 FPS the entire time, but I very much want to find out for myself!
