Satisfactory is one of my favorite survival games out there, and I love how the focus is fully on optimizing your automated factory. For a while, developer Coffee Stain Studios has been working on making the game more playable with controllers and on the Steam Deck, and after four years of having that Playable badge, the game has finally achieved the Verified badge.

I am surprised it has taken so long, but it is great to see it finally happen. The game officially got controller support with its 1.1 update, and with the consistent updates to improve text size on the Deck, this was bound to happen at some point. And it seems that some point is today, since the game officially got the green checkmark!
Now that it has the Verified badge, Valve has marked it as a good game to play on the go. The Verified badge indicates that the game's default controller configuration works well, the default graphical preset is optimized, the in-game text is legible, and all the controller icons fit the gamepad. I wouldn't say Valve's badge is a good indicator of how well a game will perform on the Deck, and with Satisfactory, it can get very heavy on the device in the late-game, but it should still be relatively playable.

Satisfactory can be purchased for $34.99 on Steam.
