Proton 10.0-4 Has Arrived With New Playable Games And A Plethora Of Fixes For Steam Deck

The next stable Proton update is here with a plethora of fixes and new playable games that have come over from the Proton Experimental branch. We can now play games like Metal Slug: Awakening, Summoners War, REACH, and Distant Worlds 2, while there have been fixes for Far Cry 5, The Outer Worlds 2, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, and Assassin's Creed Shadows. We also have dualsense haptic controller fixes, some regressions that made games like Chrono Trigger and Lost Planet unplayable, and video playback for AQUARIUM is working again.

The new Proton update should install automatically on the Steam Deck if you have Proton 10 downloaded. If not, just search Proton 10 in the store on the Deck, and you can download it there.
