Mortal Kombat 1 Trailer Shows the First Gameplay of The Boys’ Homelander; Arriving June 4th

The team behind Mortal Kombat 1 just released a new trailer showing off the first gameplay for the upcoming DLC guest fighter Homelander. As featured in The Boys series on Amazon Prime Video, Homelander joins the Mortal Kombat 1 roster on June 4 if you're a Kombat Pack owner, and will be available to purchase separately from June 11.

Homelander presents himself as the ultimate patriot and protector, but don’t let his movie star good looks or high approval rating fool you. He is a murderous, narcissistic sociopath with an insatiable need for validation, love, and power. Challengers from other realms now also face his wrath in Mortal Kombat 1. Homelander can use his super strength, aerial attacks, and laser eyes to assert dominance over his opponents.

If you checked out the trailer, you'd have noticed that it also provides a first look at gameplay for Ferra, a new DLC Kameo Fighter who will assist you during matches. Ferra will be available as part of the Kombat Pack and for standalone purchase in June 2024.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on Steam for $69.99. It has full controller support and is rated as Verified on the Steam Deck, so you shouldn't have problems getting a decent experience on your device.
