Freedom Wars is being remastered! Massive news came for PS Vita fans worldwide today, as the original developers are reviving this huge hit for the modern audience. It is coming sooner than you think: January 10, 2025, and this trailer got me on the edge of my seat.

Freedom Wars was a massive game for the Playstation Vita, may it rest in peace. A million-year prison sentence is the price to pay for living. In a dystopian future, the world is ravaged by climate change, with surviving humanity forced into vast prisons called Panopticons. In this huge combat RPG, players must fight each other in endless missions in a battle over the dwindling world resources. Every victory shaves a little precious time off that prison sentence, and I loved my time with it on the Vita.

With this long awaited remaster, Bandai are bringing Freedom Wars back to the present era. These improvements include things such as 4K resolution, upgraded textures, 60fps performance, an overhauled weapon crafting system and other gameplay upgrades, as well as adding difficulty settings.
