Endless Legend 2's Kin of Sheredyn Faction Announced

Paris-based developer Amplitude has revealed the latest faction for the fantasy turn-based strategy game Endless Legend 2, namely the Kin of Sheredyn.

The hardened Kin of Sheredyn faction reveal is the first of many in-depth showcases planned by Hooded Horse and Amplitude for Endless Legend 2. Excelling at both developing their territory and subsequently defending it, this particular class features a defensive/builder playstyle that appears to present itself as a "Jack of all trades" faction for those looking to delve into the vast majority of game systems and mechanics.

The faction's traits are as follows:

• Martial Builders: Experienced military engineers, the Kin can build military improvements more quickly than other factions.
• As Was Ordained: The Kin would rather develop their territory than expand further, and gain bonuses for staying under their city cap.
• Religious Favor: The Kin receive stronger bonuses and penalties for high or low approval in their cities.
• Idol’s Grace: Every hero serving in the Kin of Sheredyn empire increases the Approval of their cities.
• Warrior Honor: The Kin believe in honour and justice, so they will support wars they see as justified, but oppose them if they don’t.
• Resilient Heart: Kin of Sheredyn troops recover faster in their own territory.

Announced in January, Endless Legend 2 is the latest title in the storied Endless Universe. No firm release date has been announced yet, but it will launch in Early Access in 2025.
