The new remake of the beloved classic, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, is now available for a hands-on preview as the demo goes live on Steam today. Now, with improved graphics, gameplay, and reimagined storytelling, fans of the original game and newcomers alike can dive into the enchanting world of Wasteland in this remake.

A faithful and updated remake of the original adventure game, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed was developed by Purple Lamp in collaboration with Disney Games and published by THQ Nordic. Players assume control of Mickey Mouse once more, this time with a magical paintbrush, as he discovers and transforms a world populated by long-lost Disney tales and characters.

You can get a feel for the updated features—like Mickey's new dash, ground pound, and sprinting abilities—in the demo. The game's multiple endings also bode well for its replay value, since each player's decisions will result in a different experience.

While the full game is set to launch on September 24, 2024, across multiple platforms, including PC, the demo offers an early opportunity for PC gamers to immerse themselves in the reimagined world of Wasteland.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed will be available on Steam for purchase upon its official release. Unfortunately, Steam users will not be able to take advantage of the Early Access deal, which comes with a Costume Pack and 24 hours of gameplay before the official release, as it is only available on console versions.

This demo is a great opportunity for players to either relive or experience Disney's Wasteland for the first time, as the full release is just under a month away.
