I am almost constantly on the hunt for deals on new games to add to my portable library. There are plenty of sites I consistently check out, including Humble Bundle and Fanatical. However, it looks like there is a new website to check out, and it has some incredible ideas that I think could make this one of the best websites for bundles out there, as long as they can keep it up.

Digiphile bundles

Digiphile is a brand new website founded by the former members of Humble Bundle. According to their "About Us" page, they want to help people discover hidden gems and support charity. And with them being an independently owned, self-funded website, they are able to have full control over the games they showcase. They have also made a couple of promises to never sell any keys they don't have, community comes first, and they won't be taking a cut of any extra donations to charity.

So far, I love this whole idea. I have actually noticed some of my purchases from Humble being delayed since they ran out of keys, so it is nice to see that they won't be overselling for games. On top of that, I love that they have full control over the games, books, and possibly more bundles that they will be showcasing. Especially as an owner of an independent website myself, I feel a sort of kinship with what they are trying to do, and I am all for it.

They also kicked off the release of their website with their first bundle, which is just an amazing deal:

You can also add $5 for charity to get the Shadows of Doubt Digital Artbook, System Shock Soundtrack, and some exclusive charity artwork. And, if you want to support the publisher, you can add an additional $5 for the Blood West: Dead Man's Promise DLC.

Now, starting with a fantastic bundle is already great, but the site has one special feature that I adore: Exchanges. Basically, after purchasing a bundle, you can sync your Steam library, and if there are any games you already own, you can exchange it for credits. These credits can then be used to redeem other games in their system. There aren't a ton of games here, but there are some solid options like Deathloop, Backpack Hero, and Dishonored 2, and the list will grow as more bundles are released and games are added here.

You can also choose to gift the game to someone else, so you aren't forced to use the exchange, but it is pretty awesome to have this as an option.

As long as Digiphile keeps up with solid bundles and an expanding exchange library, I can see this site being the best bundle website around. I love its design, philosophy, and features so far, and I can't wait to see what they will be curating next.

The Digifile Bundle links above are using an affiliate link, which gives us a little back from sales at no extra charge to you. All proceeds go back into SDHQ and its development.
